Chatham Football Club
Practice and equipment notices
Cougar families, welcome back to football and cheer! New to the club? There is room for questions here, too. We want your player to learn, find teammates and have fun.
August 18 practice notice: tackle preseason begins at Lum Field Complex. Equipment handout is listed for August 17 at Lum Field House. Keep your coach's latest instructions with those dates.
Our teams work on more than the next play. Teamwork, fair play and the dedication to keep trying belong on every field. Cheer for the effort. Help a teammate. Come back ready to learn.
Programs
Tackle Football
Learning a block or making a catch takes practice. Our tackle players in grades 4-8 build those skills together at Lum Field Complex. Home games bring us to Cougar Field at Chatham High School. Read the tackle football notes for equipment and grade-level expectations.
Flag Football
Boys and girls in grades 3-8 can learn football together through co-ed flag at Shunpike Field. We want hustle, sportsmanship and plenty of fun. Send your questions to chathamnjflagfootball@gmail.com, or read our flag football page before signing up.
Cheerleading
Your cheerleader can build confidence and bring Cougar pride to the sidelines in grades 4-8. Our squads support youth tackle teams at home and away. Ask chathamreccheer@gmail.com about practice and clothing. The cheer page also explains how parents can help.
